Love the album! It is adorable and just the kind of scrapbooking I could actually do :-)

As far as traditions go, my husband and I come from very different backgrounds as far as holidays go (mine is all about being with family, his is all about staying home and relaxing). So after a couple years we decided that for his favorite holiday we do things however he wants it and for my favorite holiday he tags along and doesn't complain. Luckily we have different favorites! So Thanksgiving is a quiet affair with lots of leftovers and football and Christmas is all about family - after 15 years we've got some things figured out!

I love your album. Our tradition is to stay home, cook, and relax. I traveled on holidays a lot as a kid and I hated it. I want my kids to stay home and relax.

Very cute mini album! Our families traditions have always been a little bit of this and a little bit of that; however, my husband and I Christians and so we celebrate the holidays with family, friends, food, and sometimes at church for a good weekend service.

Your album is so cute! Really great job on it.

Our tradition is to get together with extended family and just enjoy the day together.

One of our favorite traditions is that my kids make homemade pizza, from scratch, on Christmas Eve. This year we traveled from Indiana to New Orleans, where my son moved, to enjoy our family pizza night. Love that album and look forward to checking out your Etsy shop soon. I will sign up to be a follower.

Liz, that album is GORGEOUS! I'm loving your trims from the ribbon swap we did in early spring. Can't wait to hear more about your etsy store! I joined your blog. :) As for traditions...we love Disneyland at my house. So, one of my favorite traditions is a yearly trip to D-land in Anaheim around my birthday in November. My son's is a week before and my daughter's is a week after...so we all go to celebrate!!

The mini album is so cute. I am loving the lil duckies.

Since we have a tradition for pretty much every holiday, I'll stick to one I scrapped recently. For St. PAtrick's day, a "leprechaun" visits our home and plays tricks. he turns the milk green, hides our shoes, turn pictures upside down and other silly things. Each year, DS and DH build a trap to try to catch him. They haven't yet, but usually he leaves behind a small trinket or some gold wrapped chocolates for DS.

BTW, I became a follower.

What an adorable mini! And I love the crocheted flowers!
4th of July is one of my favorites! We go to the local parade and then have family over for a BBQ. Just the way I like to spend it!
(not leaving email so will check back)

Adorable album! Our holiday family tradition is to spend it with family! :-) The last 2 years at Easter, we've had a nighttime egg hunt and brunch. At Thanksgiving, we invite family and friends over for smoked turkey--we had almost 40 people this year! For Christmas, we travel to see our family (2 states away).

Love the album. I love how colorful it is.
Since it is a Easter album I thought I would share that one of our traditions for Easter is that every year I get each of the grandchildren the BIGGEST chocholate rabbit I can find. I love to watch their eyes.

As it is always custom, we spend all holidays with Grams. She makes the best meals and has the cutest decorations. And it just seems better at her house.

I love that Easter album!
Nobody will be surprised that my favorite part of any holiday is seeing my grandchildren who live in the next state!

Very beautiful album.
My little family of 4 gets together with my Dad. We always have such a good time, and "Papa" loves spending time with his grandchildren.

Love the Easter album, I think I could use it for some rainy day photos too. But...it would look good with the photos of me by a beautiful flowered cross my church made this Easter. Going to church, that's our main Easter tradition although we do it most other Sundays too. I'll follow you too, because I'd love the trims for my spring LOs.

Nicole Brenna said...

The only tradition that I can think of is that for both the Norwegian National Day and for the 4th of July. I decorate my daughters stroller but now it is her tricycle with balloons, ribbon, flags and signs. We parade around the neighborhood.

Great candy... I would love to win it!

very cute, and i follow you!

Our Easter "tradition" has turned into service at church. This year it was a brunch fundraiser for a young mother who suffered a stroke. As our kids live out of state, we step up a bit more so others can spend special time with their families.

always love your projects! my holiday plans are a barbecue with my two sisters and all the kids (well most of them are min!!)

That is an adorable mini album... I love your style.

Holiday traditions... hmmm so many to choose from. I guess my favorite is Valentines Day. Several years back my husband started a tradition of making a photo compilation to music (with our favorite family photos from the year with some of our favorite music). It is so well thought out and we look forward to it (way more than any box chocolates or flowers)

Love your Easter album! I love those papers :)

Traditions, for Christmas we rotate between our 3 sets of parents every year. We have one set here in NE, another in SD, and mine are in OK! The kids look forward to the Christmases we go out of town :)

Cute, cute album! I have just the pictures to put into it (or one like it)! :-)

Family is what our traditions are all about! It doesn't matter where we're at or what were doing as long as family is there!

I became a follower too! Those trims and flowers are too, too cute!

Your album is awesome. I love your blog. How cool you share recipes. One of these days I am going to figure out how to create a blog. This hop has been alot of fun.

Family traditions for our home is usually I cook a big meal and evryone comes to eat, drink, and have a good time. I like you enjoy cooking, scrapping, and decorating my home. If I had alot more time and a lil bit more money it would be a perfect life. Hope your weekend was wonderful.
