Welcome to Lovebug Scrapbooking's "INSPIRE US!" blog hop!! Our blog hops
take place on the last Saturday of every month. Thanks so much for joining us!
If you just happened by this blog and didn't realize a blog hop was taking
place, please go back to Lovebug Scrapbooking and start the Hop. You won't
want to miss all the inspiration from our members....... or the prizes :-)
Our theme for August is "BACK TO SCHOOL".
I used a canvas board, painted the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint, Worn Lipstick, then I added the Distress Stickles, Rock Candy to add sparkle. The paper is from the Simple Stories, Life Documents and I inked the edges with Color Box Chalk,Creamy Brown. I used Glossy Accents on the sticker letters and numbers. You can see a close up of the flower here from an earlier post.
I've been a consultant for Memory Works for a couple of years and this year they introduced the Simple Stories Product line. It's a great paper line. I personally like the colors and the versatility. There are two lines the Life Documents and the newest one that came out this month ele.ment.ary school collection
If this is something that you might want to purchase shoot me an email at
Since this is a Back to School theme leave me a comment telling us about your favorite teacher and I will draw a name for a small RAK that I will sent to you. I'll post a picture of the Rack on Sept. 1st with the name of the lucky person. If you become a follower I'll enter you twice just let me know in your comment.
This blog hop will run from today, August 28th until August 31st.
We will be drawing for winners on September 1st on the Lovebug blog

My fave teacher was my Kindergarten teacher -- Mrs. Burden. She made my first experience with learning a wonderful one! I still talk with her today -- she lives at the local seniors' home.

Great layout. I love all the layers of paper and embellishments. Looks great!!!
My favourite teacher was my Grade 4 teacher, Mrs. Snively. She always took time to make me feel special and to be encouraging and positive, and really made a difference in my life at that time (which I really needed).
